Jamie creates a fun and relaxed environment which makes the learning exciting.

He tailors his approach for a young beginner and is patient in explaining whilst also being encouraging.

I’ve been getting lessons with Jamie for over two years

The lessons have been very useful for continually improving on skills and techniques and learning new ones, Jamie has been very helpful in making the theory aspect of learning much easier and enjoyable. Lessons are always well structured and he makes a good effort to tailor the music to the style you like, however he also encourages me to learn different types of guitar playing and music, which I have enjoyed, thanks to Jamie I’m now quite a fan of the blues!

taught the basics of playing guitar such as finger picking and learning cords , he has exceptional communicating with us, he let's you learn at your own pace and he is an amazing teacher.
There is truthfully nothing I would see to improve, couldn't ask for a better guitar teacher!

I bought an audio interface from him on FBM and thought "this guy might know a tutor", he did.

I really appreciate the teaching style, Jamie guides you towards those "ah-hah!" moments for yourself rather than outright telling you, which I've found much more rewarding and motivational.

Rather than spending an hour showing me how to play one song, he's shown me the real value of learning music theory; I see how scale modes and intervals are applied across so many songs.

Learning these keystones has completely changed my understanding of music as a whole for the better.
